Over the last decade, Suresh Raina has been one of the most reliable players in the Indian limited-overs setup, having played over 200 ODIs for the Men in Blue at the international level. The left-handed batsman was also part of the Indian team which lifted the ICC World Cup in 2011.
In 223 ODIs, Raina has scored 5568 runs at an average of 35.46 and a strike-rate of 93.76. The Uttar Pradesh cricketer’s stats are as impressive in T20Is, having notched up 1203 runs at a strike-rate of 132.92 in 62 matches. He has also represented India in 18 Tests.
Raina, who is a very popular member in the Indian dressing room, turned 30 on Sunday and his team-mates took to Twitter to wish him on the occasion.
As usual, Virender Sehwag came up with a hilarious birthday wish while the others were quite formal.
