As expected, India wrapped up a comfortable win over Bangladesh in the only Test between the two sides at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Monday.
The Indian bowlers produced a devastating display in the post-lunch session to help secure a comprehensive 208-run victory.
Bangladesh put up a better display than most people expected and that impressed India legend VVS Laxman, who insisted they must learn from the defeat in order to keep improving.
Former New Zealand cricketers Simon Doull and Scott Styris, and former India opener Aakash Chopra also commended the visitors’ performance.
Here, we look at the top tweets of the day.
