As the race for the playoffs heats up, Rising Pune Supergiant will host struggling Royal Challengers Bangalore at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Saturday’s early fixture.

Here, we look at three players who you should look at picking in your fantasy team for this encounter, including our pick for your Power Player.

    POWER PLAYER

    VIRAT KOHLI [1,100,000]

By his standards, Virat Kohli hasn’t had a great tournament so far after returning from his shoulder injury. 164 runs from five matches with two fifties might not look bad, but given his reputation, the Royal Challengers captain will demand more of himself.

With the Bengaluru-based franchise needing a win in every match they play from here on out, Kohli will want to lead from the front just like he did last season.

    STEVE SMITH [950,000]

The Rising Pune Supergiant skipper has an average of 55 this season which shows that despite not getting the big scores regularly, he has been fairly consistent with the bat.

With an unbeaten 51 under his belt in the last game, Smith will want to kick on and play a match-winning innings this time around.

    YUZVENDRA CHAHAL [850,000]

Despite Royal Challengers’ poor run of form in this season’s IPL, one player who has done well for them is Yuzvendra Chahal. The leg-spinner has taken 10 wickets in eight matches and has an economy rate of just over seven.

If you are looking for a bowling option, Chahal should be on the top of your wishlist for this match [unless you have a foreigners slot free, in which case you can include Imran Tahir.
