Karn Sharma had to wait a bit to get his chance in the 2017 Indian Premier League [IPL], and once he got an opportunity, he has consistently performed well for Mumbai Indians.
On Friday, in Qualifier 2 against Kolkata Knight Riders, Karn produced his best performance of the season as he took four wickets to guide Mumbai into the IPL final.
Coming into bowl in the fifth over, the 29-year-old dismissed Sunil Narine which was an important wicket as the West Indian cricketer had previously caused problems at the start of overs.
Then, in his next over, he took the wickets of Gautam Gambhir and Colin de Grandhomme off successive deliveries as KKR were reduced to 31-5.
Karn would return later in the innings to end a 56-run partnership between Ishank Jaggi and Suryakumar Yadav.
Overall this season, Karn has now taken 13 wickets in eight matches.

When you see a spinner bowl slow in T20 cricket that means his confidence is up. You are seeing that with Karn Sharma currently.👏👏👏#MIvKKR
