Here’s what our latest European Team of the Week looks like:

    GK: Lukas Hradecky (Bayer Leverkusen)

Fully deserved a clean sheet having made four saves. Part of that was denying Schalke from the penalty spot and being alert enough to stop the the follow-up shot on the rebound as well.

    RB: Achraf Hakimi (Inter Milan)

Easily his best performance for Inter Milan since joining from Borussia Dortmund. Looked dangerous with his movement going forward and bagged a brace with two neat finishes.

    CB: Joel Matip (Liverpool)

Solid at the back and supported Neco Williams well. He also scored at the other end with a fine header from Mohamed Salah’s deliciously whipped in cross.

    CB: Kurt Zouma (Chelsea)

Let Patrick Bamford get away from him for the opener but was excellent beyond that. He scored with an emphatic header from a corner kick and registered a game-high six clearances.

    LB: Angelino (RB Leipzig)

Charged up and down the left flank in a thrilling 3-3 draw with Bayern Munich. He had more touches than anyone else for Leipzig and assisted their third goal with a sublime cross.

CM: Kevin De Bruyne (Man City)

Another influential display for Manchester City as he supplied Raheem Sterling for the opener before converting from the spot for the second. He also hit the cross bar with a rasping effort later in the second half against Fulham.

    CM: Thomas Muller (Bayern Munich)

True to nature, Thomas Muller delivered a masterclass in sniffing out and attacking space in the final third. His movement in attack was world-class and his clinical finishing delivered a brace.

    CM: Mason Mount (Chelsea)

Continues to be Frank Lampard’s most trusted lieutenant and he showed why by excelling in a pulsating 3-1 win over Leeds. His work-rate was unparalleled while his delivery was different class. Only had the one assist for Zouma but should’ve had at least another and perhaps a goal.

    FW: Son Heung-min (Tottenham)

Dismantled Arsenal in the north London derby with his dangerous runs in the transition. Opened the scoring with an absolute screamer from distance before setting up Harry Kane to seal the game.

    FW: Karl Toko-Ekambi (Lyon)

Provided a great cut-back for Memphis Depay in the first half before showing good speed, movement and efficiency when he scored twice in the second.

    FW: Kingsley Coman (Bayern Munich)

A constant threat in attack, Kingsely Coman impressed with his runs and delivery. He bagged all three assists for Bayern Munich with his wonderfully weighted cross for Muller standing out in particular. He even managed to become the fastest Bundesliga player this season when one of his runs clocked in at 35.89km/h.
