New arrival: Jose Sosa.

Jose Sosa, Besiktas to AC Milan, €7.5 million (Done Deal)

The former Bayern Munich and Napoli playmaker has chosen the No23 shirt at Milan, in tribute to Michael Jordan.

The 31-year-old was the leading assist-maker in Turkey’s Super Lig last season with 12 and is ready to face Torino on Sunday in their Serie A opener.

Rachid Ghezzal, Lyon to Crystal Palace, €7 million (In Talks)

Just 48 hours after selling Yannick Bolasie to Everton, Palace have submitted a bid for the winger.

The offer is low because the 24-year-old only has a year left on his contract with Lyon president Jean Michael Aulas keen to open negotiations over a new deal.

Jeffrey Schlupp, Leicester to West Brom, £12 million (Bid Rejected)

West Brom remain intent on bringing the 23-year-old to the Hawthorns despite having their initial approach knocked back on Wednesday.

Schlupp is said to be pressing for a move as he wants first-team football but Leicester are holding out for a fee more towards £15-£17 million.

Paco Alcacer, Valencia to Barcelona, €45 million (Staying Put)

According to Valencia sporting director Jesus Garcia Pitarch, he is staying at Mestalla as Barca’s search for a striker goes on. Pitarch said: “Paco has not told me that he wants to leave Valencia. He is happy here and is keen for the start of LaLiga and to score goals.”

Diego Rolan, Bordeaux to Schalke, €10 million (Reported)

Schalke are yet to spend the €50m they received from Manchester City for Leroy Sane but are reportedly closing in on Uruguayan forward Rolan. Southampton are also keen on the 23-year-old, which means his pricetag – should Bordeaux sell, will only rise.

It’s nearly been a week since the Premier League got underway, but there are hardly signs of clubs surrenders hopes on squad-bolstering changes.

Sport360 proudly rounds-up the day’s transfer twists and turns.

Jonathan Calleri, Deportivo Maldonado to West Ham, Loan (Done Deal)

The Argentina striker, who toppped the 2015 Copa Libertadores scoring charts with Sao Paulo, has completed a season-long loan move from Uruguayan side Deportivo Maldonado. Calleri is a classic no. 9 and his tenacity will lend well to the EPL.

Christian Benteke, Liverpool to Crystal Palace, €27m (Bid Rejected)

If at first you don’t succeed, try and try again.. Palace have had another bid rejected for the Liverpool striker. The Reds are looking to recoup the majority of the €38m fee they parted with last summer and are looking for €35m in one payment.

Jeffrey Schlupp, Leicester City to West Brom, €13m (In Talks)

Injury curtailed Schlupp’s progress last season but his versatility is sure to be a huge plus for Tony Pulis’ West Brom. Talks are ongoing but the switch is nearing completion after the Baggies submitted a join club-record fee for the winger.

Luisao, Benfica to Wolves, €2m (In Talks)

Arguably the most bizarre transfer story of this window. The Benfica legend is out of contract next season and Wolves have opened talks over a two-year deal worth £100,000 per week. The defender has won 17 trophies during 13 seasons in Portugal.

Matteo Darmian, Manchester United to Napoli, €13m (New Target)

After just one season in the Premier League, the right-back is set to return to the Serie A with Jose Mourinho preferring Antonio Valencia. Napoli are favourites to land the 26-year-old to replace the aging Christian Maggio.

While the league season is now underway in England, there is still time remaining before the opening matchday in Germany and Italy. Clubs in both leagues still have time to bring in reinforcements and thus dominate the weekend’s transfer speculation.

Sport360 rounds-up the day’s transfer speculation.

Ashley  Young, Manchester United to Crystal Palace, Loan (Bid Rejected)

The ex-England winger has received little game time under new United boss Jose Mourinho and he has been offered an escape route to Selhurst Park. The Guardian reports a loan bid has been knocked back, as a permanent sale is desired.

Joao Mario, Sporting Lisbon to Real Madrid, €45m (In Talks)

A bidding war looks set up to take place for the Euro 2016 winner, according to Sport. The daily sports paper has stated that Real have been offered the attacking midfielder, who is also in the sights of Internazionale. Whomever he goes to will pay a high price.

Marko Rog, Dinamo Zagreb to Napoli, €16m (In Talks)

Another Croatia starlet looks set to make the move this summer to Serie A. Sky Sport Italia report that Napoli are keen to add the 21-year-old to their squad. Rog will add energy to the midfield, attributes which were on show at Euro 2016.

Nicola Maksimovic, Torino to Chelsea, €25m (New Target)

Maksimovic has become the invisible man at Torino, with Gazzetta dello Sport reporting he has escaped to his native Serbia as a means to force through a transfer to Napoli. The centre-back’s arrival could free Kalidou Koulibaly to move to Chelsea.

Moussa Sissoko, Newcastle United to Crystal Palace, €29m (New Target)

The Premier League merry-go-round could send Sissoko to the Eagles, who have cash to burn after selling Bolasie. Whether the scenario laid out in the Guardian would appeal to the France midfield – who covets Real Madrid – is unknown.
