The popular weekly event has moved indoors and guests can continue enjoying music and entertainment while avoiding the summer heat on Friday.
The newly-opened Kickers Sports Bar will play host and keep the fun going in its air-conditioned venue until Friday Night Live returns outdoors in October.
“The launch of Friday Night Live at the Dubai Sports City Sports Village has been met with an overwhelmingly positive response as people have loved the chance to come and unwind at the end of the week while, at the same time, enjoying great entertainment,” said Dorothee Petz, Dubai Sports City event manager.
“With Kickers Sports Bar now open for business it seems like the perfect fit to combine the two during the summer months and Friday Night Bar Live is the result.”
Visitors can watch all the very best sporting action from around the world on Kickers Sports Bar’s giant screens while socialising in a chilled-out hangout area.
Whether you make Friday Night Live part of your weekend or head over after working up a sweat at any one of the facilities at Sports Village, it’s the perfect place to unwind.
“Just as has been the case over the past two months, we will be showcasing some superb talent and we are sure this will prove to be another extremely popular event,” Petz said.
“The success of Friday Night Live has been phenomenal with, as an example, more than 2,000 people attending our Irish evening in late March.
“It is another illustration that Dubai Sports City is not just about world-class sporting events; it is also about memorable and enjoyable activities for the community too, and Friday Night Bar Live is another one of those.”
Kickers Sports Bar has a variety of food and beverages, including the delicious true American Burger Experience and cool Kickers floats.
A happy hour will also take place, as it does daily, from 15:00 to 18:00 for special beverages. Entry is for everyone aged 21 and over and remains free.
