Batshuayi is the latest Belgian to join the Stamford Bridge club.

Striker Michy Batshuayi has completed his move to Chelsea from Marseille, signing a five-year deal at Stamford Bridge.

The 22-year-old scored for Belgium in their 4-0 win over Hungary in the last 16 at Euro 2016 before his team were eliminated by Wales in the quarter-finals on Friday night.

Here, Sport360 looks at seven things you may not know about the talented young forward.

1. Batshuayi had a nomadic youth career, playing at RFC Evere, RUSA Schaarbeek, Brussels FC, Anderlecht and returning to Brussels before turning professional with Standard Liege.

2. His first goal for Standard came as a 17-year-old, the winner against FC Copenhagen which saw the Belgians advance into the knockout stages of the 2011-12 Europa League.

3. Batshuayi qualified to represent the Democratic Republic of Congo through his parents, but instead opted to play for Belgium.

4. His younger brother Aaron Leya Iseka, 18, plays as a striker for Anderlecht, having progressed through their youth ranks.

5. Batshuayi made his Marseille debut a day after signing for the club in August 2014, replacing current West Ham and France star Dimitri Payet in a 3-2 win over Bastia.

6. His name has earned him the nickname ‘Batsman’. He would not be the first Blues forward to have a moniker based on the alter-ego of Bruce Wayne as former Chelsea striker Mateja Kezman was known as ‘Batman’.

7. He is a big fan of the cartoon SpongeBob SquarePants and admits to watching it on nights when he cannot sleep.
