Players react to FIFA 17

Champions League and European Championship winner Cristiano Ronaldo is the highest rated player in FIFA 17 with a rating of 94, while perennial rival Lionel Messi comes in second at 93.

But while the Portuguese will no doubt be pleased with his rating, others are less than impressed. Here’s a look at the best reactions from some of the biggest stars.

Who do you think should have a higher or lower rating? Have your say by commenting below, using #360fans on Twitter or getting in touch via Facebook.

HARRY KANE – 84

Tottenham striker Harry Kane was disappointed with his rating to say the least, insisting his passing, shooting and defending ratings should have been higher.

MICHAIL ANTONIO – 76

After spending a bit of time at full-back, Michail Antonio believes his defensive rating should’ve gone up a lot more along with his physicality. Meanwhile, he also though his shooting should be better given his form in front of goal.

CHEIKHOU KOUYATE – 77

Antonio’s West Ham team-mate Cheikhou Kouyate couldn’t hide his disappointment when he found out he only went up two points from 75 to 77. The defensive midfielder thought 80 would’ve been a fair rating.

MICHY BATSHUAYI – 81

Michy Batshuayi has probably had the most hilarious reaction to his new FIFA rating. The 22 year-old complained that his 59-rated passing is unreasonably low, claiming he should’ve been given t least 69. His tweets on the subject, including an interaction with the EA Sports account, provided plenty of entertainment.

ANTOINE GRIEZMANN – 88

Antoine Griezmann told Le Parisien that he loves playing video games, particularly FIFA, but revealed he doesn’t usually play as Atletico Madrid in the game, saying:  “I do not play with Atlético, otherwise I give myself all the time the ball.”

Who can blame him?

MARCO REUS – 88

After taking time to deliberate his individual stats, Reus calculated that he should be around 93. Not quite, Marco but you’ll get there!

GIORGIO CHIELLINI – 88

Despite his impressive rating, Chiellini joked that he should be at 99 instead.

PATRICE EVRA – 82

How much does ‘Uncle Pat’ think he should be rated? He says 93.

GIANLUIGI BUFFON – 88

Buffon made a fair argument as to why he should be rated higher. He’s the oldest and hence deserves respect. Fair point, Gigi.

MARCUS RASHFORD – 76

Genuine as always, Rashford conceded that both Anthony Martial and himself are pretty poor defensively and even gave his team-mate the upper hand in terms of physicality.

ANTHONY MARTIAL – 82

The Frenchman actually guessed his rating correctly, stating that he thought he should have a rating of 82. Mission accomplished, Anthony!

JEROME BOATENG – 90

The Bayern Munich defender received an impressive 90 rating but isn’t satisfied. Why? His children believe it should be even higher! Meanwhile, he gave Muller an 87, which was spot on.

MANUEL NEUER – 92

Neuer also thought Boateng should’ve been rated higher, giving him a 96.

JAMES RODRIGUEZ – 87

The Colombian stated that a rating of 88 or 89 would be perfect. Awfully close!

THOMAS MULLER – 87

Muller gave Neuer a 99 rating, declaring him the best goalkeeper in the world.

DELE ALLI – 80

The playmaker joked that his Tottenham teammate Kane should actually have a negative rating when it comes to defending.

PAULO DYBALA – 85

Like Martial, the Argentine was also spot on when guessing his FIFA 17 rating.
