Barcelona face Sampdoria in Wednesday’s annual Gamper Trophy, a fixture that traditionally sees the presentation of the new squad ahead of the forthcoming season that kicks off on Saturday August 20 at home to Real Betis.
There will be a number of new faces introduced, with Denis Suarez, Lucas Digne, Samuel Umtiti and Andre Gomes all arriving this summer, whilst Sergi Samper has been promoted from the reserves.
The 51st edition of the trophy is a match commemorating the 25th anniversary of the 1992 European Cup final at Wembley that saw Barcelona defeat the Italian side.
